• A senior, a family member, a volunteer or a tele-caller adds the senior to the state register — with their consent
• A short assessment shows who needs the most attention: living alone, health, mobility, support at home
• Welfare visits are scheduled; those living alone are visited by the police as the Goa Rules of 2009 require
• An SOS, a missed check-in or a complaint reaches the right team at once
• Follow through — Schemes applied for, cases resolved, court directions complied with — all tracked to the end
GOA SAMARTH does not track where a senior citizen is. Location is used only for an SOS, a missing-person report, a welfare visit check-in, or when the senior has asked for it. Every senior is registered with consent, and can ask to see, correct or remove their record.
